OW TO CHOOSE AN AIRBNB OR A HOTEL IN ROME: PART II
Im really happy that the first part about where to stay in Rome was helpful! Here are some more travel tips that may be useful if you’re traveling to Rome. Or in any other city in Italy :)
Check in/check out - VERY IMPORTANT double-check on the time of check in and check out. Be sure that the place provides a free late check-in and assure that it is automatic. If it’s an old style in person check-in you risk to stay outside the apartment and wait for someone to come to open you.
Luggage drop off - ask if the structure offers a luggage drop off before the check in. It would be a great help especially if you have an early flight!
Elevator - its a very tricky thing in the center of Rome! Many historical buildings don’t have an elevator at all. If you travel far with a lot of luggage you might need accommodation with elevator or at least on the low floor.
Reviews - check only the latest ones! You’re not interested in the reviews from 3 years ago. Trust me, so many things can change even in 1 year! So pay attention only on the fresh ones.
Travel safe!
