Every time I see a beautiful and well-organised business, I always imagine how much work there is behind all that external easiness and attractiveness.
Our amato @agrodolce_roma already existed when we bought it in 2018. And it looked like this (look in the carousel before / after).
In these years, we made a long way from a restaurant for tourists near the Trevi Fountain to a respectable restaurant that must be booked in advance, famous for it’s fresh pasta and zero km products. When we started managing Agrodolce it was in the 4000th position in Tripadvisor rating out of 10.000 restaurants in Rome. Now we are in the top 400 and are constantly improving. And I hope we will get into the top 50!
And now something personal… about my dream that has come true!
During quarantine, I wrote a wish in my diary (something incredible at that time, when the streets were empty and we did not know when we would open the restaurant again and whether it would ever be possible) ...
I basically wrote only this: “I wish that there is a queue in front of the restaurant and all the tables are fully booked” ...
And then…at some point it just happened! And now it happens almost every night.
And I know why… because Antonio and I didn’t give up for two years in a raw. We were looking for new ways out of dead ends; solutions for unsolvable problems; we gave without taking anything in return, we sacrificed time, sleep, health…
So all I want to say is…Don’t give up! And keep working for your dream.
And your hard work will be rewarded in time.
But it is important to remember that magical moment when your dream will come true. I did. And I felt very happy.
